WWE Fires AAA Talent For Hitting Fan During Altercation

WWE has reportedly released a Lucha Libre AAA talent following a major controversy.

According to Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net, Niño Hamburguesa has been released from his Lucha Libre AAA contract after a clip of him assaulting a fan surfaced on social media.

The report further noted that Hamburguesa learned of his release directly from WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.

“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that Niño Hamburguesa has been released from his Lucha Libre AAA contract. The decision came after a clip surfaced on social media of him striking a fan at an independent show. The Undertaker was the one who informed Niño Hamburguesa that he was being let go.”

El Planchitas of RÉCORD México also confirmed that WWE made the decision to let go of Niño Hamburguesa from AAA “due to unsportsmanlike conduct against a fan.”

The clip in question shows Hamburguesa repeatedly striking a fan at ringside with his elbow, much to the amusement of some fans in the crowd, while others appeared visibly uncomfortable at the sight. The fan had allegedly heckled the now-former AAA star during his match.

“As expected, fans have expressed their total disagreement with what happened inside the arena, as most of them believe that if the wrestler ‘isn’t going to handle insults from the crowd, he should find another line of work.’ Others have opted to mention that they find him to be a ‘bad’ wrestler, so they don’t believe he should remain on AAA’s main roster,” RÉCORD México reported (translated via Google).

Niño Hamburguesa famously competed at AAA TripleMania XXXIII in August 2025, where he was part of mixed tag team action alongside Mr. Iguana and NXT’s Lola Vice against Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Raquel Rodriguez.
