Major Update on Kevin Owens’ Recovery Status

Kevin Owens is expected to undergo another medical checkup this summer as he continues recovering from neck surgery ahead of a possible return to WWE.

Last year, Owens was originally scheduled to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41. However, he later revealed that he had suffered a serious neck injury. Because of the injury, he was medically unable to compete.

As a result, the planned match had to be canceled. Orton then issued an open challenge at the show. Joe Hendry answered the challenge and faced him at WrestleMania 42. Owens eventually underwent neck fusion surgery in July.

The procedure was successful. It marked an important step in his recovery. Since then, updates about his condition have been limited. There has been very little information about the former WWE Universal Champion’s progress.

However, the latest report from BodySlam+ has provided a major update on Kevin Owens’ condition and his recovery progress. The report states, “Sources indicate Kevin Owens is set to undergo re-evaluation this Summer to see how things are coming along recovery wise. Another source indicates that WWE is hopeful that Owens will be able to return at some point in 2026.”

With Owens expected to undergo a medical reevaluation later this year. Many fans hope the former Universal Champion will eventually return to the WWE ring.
