One of NXT’s fastest-rising stars has shared an emotional reaction after spotting himself alongside some of wrestling’s most recognizable legends on new promotional material for WWE 2K26.
As WWE Games began promoting the title’s early access period starting March 6, new marketing posters surfaced featuring several iconic figures from the industry. Among the familiar faces was NXT Champion Joe Hendry — a moment that clearly caught the Scottish star off guard.
Hendry later reacted to the image on social media, revealing just how meaningful the appearance was for him personally.

Taking to X, Hendry shared the promotional poster and admitted the moment left him unusually lost for words.
“It’s very rare that I’m speechless, but this poster means the world to me,” Hendry wrote. “The video games are what initially made me a fan of professional wrestling, and now to be sharing the screen with these legends… Wow.”
The poster features Hendry alongside several major figures from WWE history, including CM Punk, Shawn Michaels, Roddy Piper, the masked version of Kane, and others. For a performer whose own fandom began through wrestling games, the moment represents a full-circle milestone.
In WWE 2K26, Hendry is featured prominently as the pre-order bonus for the Standard Edition through the “Joe Hendry Pack.” The bundle includes Hendry as a playable superstar with his official entrance and music, a MyFACTION EVO card, and themed cosmetics such as a Joe Hendry T-shirt and an in-game “Joe Hendry Spin” emote.
The game’s early access period began March 6 — seven days before the standard worldwide release scheduled for March 13.
Outside the digital ring, Hendry is also enjoying a major run on NXT television. He captured the vacant NXT Championship on February 3, 2026, in a ladder match involving six competitors.
His momentum continues this weekend, as Hendry prepares to defend the title against rival Ricky Saints at NXT Vengeance Day. If the marketing spotlight is any sign, Hendry’s star power isn’t just rising — it’s starting to look like a main-event entrance.
