A familiar face from WWE’s Ruthless Aggression era is finally stepping back into the virtual ring. Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson is set to return to the company’s video game franchise after nearly two decades away.
WWE and 2K Games confirmed on March 5 that Torrie Wilson will be added to the WWE 2K26 roster as downloadable content. The announcement revealed that Wilson will arrive as part of Ringside Pass Season 3, scheduled for release in June.
While WWE fans have seen Wilson appear in classic titles over the years, her upcoming inclusion marks a significant milestone. It also ends one of the longest absences for a recognizable WWE personality in the gaming series.
Torrie Wilson Set For First WWE Video Game Appearance Since 2008
Wilson’s last appearance in a licensed WWE console game came in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008, which was released in late 2007. With her addition to WWE 2K26, the Hall of Famer returns to the franchise after an 18-year gap.
During the Ruthless Aggression era, Wilson was a regular presence in WWE video games. She appeared in titles such as SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth, Here Comes the Pain, and several entries in the SmackDown vs. Raw series.
That long hiatus had even drawn attention from Wilson herself. In August 2025, she revealed that she had asked WWE why she didn’t find herself included in newer gaming titles despite her Hall of Fame induction in 2019.
Now, the wait is finally over — and fans can once again see Wilson step into a digital WWE ring.
Her addition will come through the game’s Ringside Pass system. WWE 2K26 plans to release six Ringside Pass seasons throughout the year, beginning with Season 1 on March 6 via Early Access. Season 2 will launch in April, while Season 3 — featuring Wilson — is scheduled for June.
The base version of WWE 2K26 releases March 13 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
For longtime fans of the Ruthless Aggression era, Wilson’s return proves that sometimes the past doesn’t stay pinned for long — it simply waits for the next entrance.
