WWE 2K26 Early Access Start Time Revealed

Fans have been waiting for WWE 2K26, and the release is finally close.

Early access lets players start playing a few days before the full launch. However, there is a small twist. The exact time fans can start playing depends on the platform and version of the game they are using. Different platforms have different unlock times.

The following versions of WWE 2K26 are eligible for early access: The King of Kings Edition, The Attitude Era Edition, and The Monday Night War Edition. Players who purchased these special editions will get early access. They will be able to play before the official global release on March 13. This gives them seven days of early gameplay. Console players will get access when the game unlocks at midnight in their region.

Meanwhile, PC players get a slightly different deal. The Steam version releases globally at one set time instead of local midnight. That means some players technically get in earlier, depending on where they live.

When WWE 2K26 Early Access Begins On Each Platform

Early access for WWE 2K26 starts on March 6, 2026, for console players. Fans who bought one of the aforementioned special editions can play early, as soon as the clock hits midnight in their time zone. This applies to console users.

PC players using Steam might get access earlier. Steam currently doesn’t list an exact time for the game’s release. However, Steam does list the WWE 2K26 Season Pass as being unlocked at “approximately” 7:00 PM Eastern Time on March 5. It’s unconfirmed, but fans could get advanced access to the premium editions of the game around that time, too.

The Standard Edition, which costs $69.99, does not include early access. Players who want to start early must purchase one of the premium editions. The King of Kings Edition costs $99.99. The Attitude Era Edition costs $129.99 and includes Seasons 1–4 and the Raw Is War ’98 arena. The Monday Night War Edition costs $149.99 and includes all six Ringside Pass seasons, WCW legends, and the WrestleMania 42 Pack.

The file size is also something players should prepare for. PS5 and Xbox versions range between 110–139 GB, while the Switch 2 version is around 93 GB. Preloads have already begun on consoles, though Steam users will have to wait until launch to download.

With more than 400 playable characters, new modes like the CM Punk Showcase, and updated content through the Ringside Pass, early access gives players the first shot at exploring everything the game offers.
