Trick Williams and Lash Legend are confident about their power as a couple in WWE.
Across the current WWE landscape, couples like Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, as well as CM Punk and AJ Lee, continue to enjoy success and create buzz amongst fans. SmackDown stars Trick Williams and Lash Legend appear to be next in line for the same things.
According to Williams, they may even be an upgrade from the other pairs.
“Shout out to Punk, AJ, Seth, Becky, but you know, it’s like you ever put your phone down on the nightstand, then that thing update overnight, and then you pull it out next day like ‘Whoa, I didn’t know that my phone can do all this. Look at all these upgrades. Wow, this is better today than it was yesterday.’ That’s what happens when you get Trick and Lash,” Williams told Wake Up Barstool when asked what it would take for them to be WWE’s top power couple.
“That’s what happens. Let’s talk about!” Legend added.
Taking to X, Williams then further encouraged WWE to “put the phone on the night stand” in order to let the updates process.
Since moving to the main roster in November and December, respectively, Legend and Williams have yet to interact on WWE television. The duo, however, continues to make public and promotional appearances together.
On the SmackDown brand, Williams and Legend join Aleister Black and Zelina Vega, Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona, and Montez Ford and Bianca Belair as the brand’s real-life couples.
