Bronson Reed plans on coming back better than ever.
Reed competed in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. Reed was rumored to be the eventual winner of the match. However, an audible was called due to an apparent injury.
Reed rolled right out of the ring and stayed on the floor for the rest of the match, as he appeared to have hurt his bicep. Later in the show, Michael Cole announced that Reed had injured his right arm, suffering a distal biceps tear. Cole said Reed would be out indefinitely, but did not offer any more details about the situation.
Bronson Reed comments on his status
Reed issued his first comments since getting injured, posting the following on Twitter/X:
“Appreciate the kind words,” Reed wrote. “Ill be back better than ever, causing destruction like no one else can!”
A distal bicep tear is an injury where the tendon connecting the biceps to the forearm tears. Surgery is typical for athletes, with recovery taking anywhere from 3 to 6 months.
On Wednesday, PWInsider.com reported that WWE sent Reed to Birmingham, Alabama, after RAW. Reed is expected to undergo surgery for the torn bicep, if it hasn’t already happened.
