Update on Bronson Reed Following WWE RAW Injury

There’s a new update on Bronson Reed following his injury on WWE RAW.

The February 23 episode of WWE RAW featured an Elimination Chamber qualifying triple threat match between Jey Uso, the “Original” El Grande Americano (Chad Gable), and Bronson Reed. Reports stated that WWE had planned for Reed to win the match. However, the Vision member suffered an injury while breaking up Americanos’ pin attempt on Uso.

It appeared he had suffered an injury in his right bicep. He immediately rolled out of the ring, and WWE had to call an audible for Jey Uso to pick up the win. Michael Cole later confirmed that Bronson Reed sustained a distal biceps tear and would be out of action indefinitely.

Now, PWInsider.com has reported that WWE sent Bronson Reed to Birmingham, Alabama, after the event. He is expected to undergo surgery for the torn bicep, if it hasn’t already happened. RAW taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, worked in Reed’s favor because Birmingham is only a short drive from there.

The report notes that there is no word yet on how long Reed will be out of action. WWE officials will have to rework their plans, as they had factored him into both the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 42.

A WWE Hall of Famer also criticized Jey Uso for looking sad after winning the Elimination Chamber qualifier match after Bronson Reed’s injury.

WrestleZone wishes Bronson Reed a speedy, painless recovery!
