TNA Impact Has A Hilarious Continuity Error For Several Weeks

Matt Cardona and Brian Myers point out a hilarious continuity error in TNA.

Last month, Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers shocked TNA fans when they welcomed Bear Bronson and Cedric Alexander into The System, while simultaneously casting out Moose and JDC. Naturally, Moose then found new allies to level the field against System’s latest iteration. As noted on The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, Moose’s response also came with a major continuity error.

“Moose on the opposing team of The System is wearing gear that says ‘The System,'” former TNA star Matt Cardona pointed out, referencing a photo from an eight-man tag match aired February 12. In it, Moose teamed with The Hardy Boyz and Mike Santana to take on Edwards, Myers, Bronson, and Alexander.

“Hold on a second. Can we backtrack? Moose is wearing gear that says ‘System.’ He didn’t have old stuff? This is unbelievable,” Cardona added, laughing. “It’s like if someone kicked someone out of the NWO and the next week they show up in an NWO shirt. This is the most ridiculous thing I think I’ve ever heard of in pro wrestling history.”

The System initially expelled Moose from the group on the January 22 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT. The following day, TNA filmed several matches for future TV episodes, including the aforementioned tag match that later aired on February 12.

According to Myers, Moose typically orders his ring gears in high volumes. In an ironic twist, though, he didn’t seem to have one that better fit this occasion.

“Moose, who was so obsessed with getting gear that he would never match us because he would order so much at such a high volume, gets turned on by The System and didn’t order new gear,” Myers said.

Moose has since responded to criticism of him wearing outdated gear:
