Drew McIntyre’s Current WWE WrestleMania 42 Plans — Report

Drew McIntyre may not have an easy night at WrestleMania 42.

McIntyre’s opponent for WrestleMania 42 will be decided this weekend at the WWE Elimination Chamber. The match features LA Knight, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Trick Williams, Cody Rhodes, and Je’Von Evans. The winner will move on to challenge McIntyre on WWE’s biggest stage.

The match is stacked with huge challengers for Drew McIntyre’s Undisputed WWE Championship. Several top stars are fighting for the opportunity. However, it seems McIntyre may not face only the winner of the WWE Elimination Chamber match.

New reports suggest WWE has different plans in mind. The company could be setting up a massive showdown for the champion at WrestleMania 42.

Report: Drew McIntyre won’t be in a one-on-one match at WWE WrestleMania 42

During a WrestleVotes Q&A session on Fightful Select, it was reported that WWE’s current plan does not involve a singles match for the title at WrestleMania 42. The report stated that the match could be a five-pack or even a six-pack challenge.

“At this point, it’s shaping up to be anything but a singles match. The expectation is a five-pack or even a six-pack challenge. It’s wild to think that Aleister Black, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn could all be part of the WWE Title match at WrestleMania. Whether it’s a four-man, five-man, or even six-man, but certainly won’t be a one-on-one match.” [H/T: ewrestlingnews]
