Two surprise returns shook SmackDown as Michin and B-Fab interrupted WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.
Michin had been out of action after suffering an injury during the holiday tour while competing against Cargill. She was originally scheduled to face the champion on the January 2 episode of SmackDown. On a live event on January 1, B-Fab wrestled Cargill, where she also suffered from an injury.
During their absence, Cargill started a short feud with Jordynne Grace. The two faced off for the WWE Women’s Championship on the February 13 episode of SmackDown. Cargill defeated Grace and successfully retained her title.
Now, Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan is still deciding her WrestleMania 42 opponent. Cargill has been warning her to think carefully before making that choice. She made it clear that picking her would not be easy.
However, before Morgan could respond, things took a turn. Cargill’s rivals confronted her on WWE SmackDown.
Michin And B-Fab Return During Jade Cargill Segment
On 20th February edition of SmackDown, Jade Cargill appeared backstage during a photoshoot when B-Fab confronted her. Cargill asked if B-Fab wanted a title shot. B-Fab showed interest but said she was behind others in line.
Moments later, Michin made her dramatic return, arriving with a kendo stick in hand. She reminded Cargill of their past rivalry and accused her of injuring her months ago. The segment ended with Michin stepping toward the champion.
She even teased swinging the kendo stick close enough to make Cargill flinch, a rare moment showing the champion caught off guard. It will be interesting to see if this surprise returns on WWE SmackDown leads into a title match between Michin and Cargill ahead of WrestleMania 42.
