Frankie Kazarian didn’t let the crowd at TNA No Surrender get in his head.
TNA’s Countdown to No Surrender was scheduled to feature a match between Ryan Nemeth and former AEW/IMPACT Wrestling star Alan Angels. However, that match didn’t happen, as Frankie Kazarian came to the ring to deliver a “more important” message.
Kaz kicked Ryan Nemeth out of the ring and said his King’s Speech was more important than the match. Kaz then cut a promo and was taunted by the crowd throughout the whole thing. He started to get a big long-winded, and the crowd chanted, ‘Wrap it up’ at him.
“You know who should’ve wrapped it up? Your dad!”
Kaz told the returning Alan Angels to get out of the ring and turned his back, offering to let Angels leave. Angels decked him, then dared Kaz to “cross the line” and get back in the ring. Kaz agreed, so the ref rang the bell, and the match went back and forth for a few minutes. The finish came when Angels attempted a springboard moonsault. Kaz avoided it and hooked him in a chicken wing submission, getting the win via tapout.
