Logan Paul’s latest vlog featured a backstage experiment gone wrong, as the WWE star instantly regretted trying ammonia-smelling salts during a trip home to Cleveland for Monday Night Raw.
In the YouTube video titled “Mark Zuckerberg Showed Me Secret Future Tech,” Paul encountered ammonia salts — commonly used by powerlifters to stimulate the nervous system before heavy lifts.
“You ever see like the weightlifters that crack the thing and they go [inhale] and then they deadlift like 5,000 lbs? That’s this,” he explained before trying it himself.
Logan Paul Does Not Recommend Trying This at Home
Despite admitting he had never used ammonia before, Paul cracked the packet and inhaled. The reaction was immediate. He recoiled and appeared visibly shaken, quickly warning viewers against following his lead.
“I don’t think that’s good. I don’t think that’s good for you, bro. I got 20% of a sniff and I — my brain shut off. I cannot recommend that. Don’t [expletive] do that. I’ll never do that again in my life,” he said.
When asked if he wanted another take for the camera, Paul refused, calling the experience “horrible.” For someone known as The Maverick, this was one risk he tapped out of quickly.
The ammonia mishap was just one moment in a packed week. The vlog also showed Paul meeting Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to preview advanced AR prototypes, details on hosting a Pokemon stream on February 15 at 9 p.m. EST featuring a first edition and Legendary Collection box, and participating in a Whatnot event with MrBeast where they gave away a PSA 10 Legendary Collection Charizard valued at around $60,000.
Paul later appeared after Raw went off the air to cut a promo on LA Knight ahead of Elimination Chamber. Smelling salts may have shut his brain off briefly — but his schedule certainly hasn’t slowed down.
