WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has confirmed that he recorded new commentary for WWE 2K26, adding his unmistakable voice and high-energy delivery to the next installment of the franchise.
The update includes fresh calls tied to rising stars like Trick Williams and Stephanie Vaquer, signaling a notable expansion of in-game presentation.
Booker shared the news on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, confirming he spent months in recording sessions to ensure his signature style translated to the virtual broadcast booth. He also mentioned that fans can expect his classic ad-libs and catchphrases, from “Shucky Ducky Quack Quack” to “Champagne wishes and caviar dreams,” woven naturally into matches.
Booker T Adds New Commentary Lines to WWE 2K26
The commentary team for WWE 2K26 will again feature Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Byron Saxton, along with Wade Barrett and Booker T. Footage from the game’s trailer suggests support for expanded commentary setups, potentially allowing multiple voices on a single match to boost immersion.
The Hall of Famer also talked about custom commentary tied to entrances, specifically noting recorded lines for Trick Williams’ entrance and references for Vaquer. In a lighter moment, he revealed that he even sang Joe Hendry’s entrance theme during recording, underscoring the playful, unpredictable energy he brings to the booth.
The WWE legend also detailed the workload involved, recording two to three hours at a time, twice a week, over several months. That commitment reflects a broader push to refresh a commentary system that has remained largely unchanged for years, adding personality without disrupting continuity.
With Booker T’s contagious enthusiasm now part of the call, WWE 2K26 aims to deliver a livelier, more authentic broadcast feel — especially when spotlighting the next generation of WWE talent.
