Jeff Hardy Shares Neck Injury Update

Jeff Hardy is hoping to be 100% healthy soon.

Hardy recently spoke with WrestleZone and mentioned that he’s currently dealing with a neck injury. Jeff told WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard that he’s been dealing with bulging discs in his neck since the Hardys competed at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc in October.

“I’m super excited for my neck to fully heal. I’ve been dealing with bulging discs ever since Halloween Havoc, when we dropped the [NXT Tag Team] titles,” Jeff Hardy shared. “It was that finish, it’s one of those things where it looked like I landed flat. My head was turned to the right, and it was like a whiplash. It felt terrible, the way my head hit the mat. So yeah, I’m super excited to get this thing fully healed, man. I started taking some peptides yesterday, so hopefully, that’s going to help out a lot.”

DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin defeated The Hardys in a Broken Rules match for the WWE NXT Tag Team Title. Despite the neck injury, Jeff has continued to compete for TNA, including a win over Mustafa Ali on the January 22 episode of Thursday Night Impact.

The Hardys will be in action at TNA No Surrender

During the interview, Matt and Jeff also confirmed that they will be in action at TNA No Surrender in an eight-man tag team match. Matt noted that The Righteous has been asking to team with the Hardys, so Daria Rae has agreed to book The Righteous and The Hardys against Order 4 at the live special.

TNA No Surrender takes place on Friday, February 13, at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee. TNA will also be in Nashville on February 14 for a TNA Impact television taping.

Stay tuned for our full interview with Matt and Jeff Hardy on WrestleZone.
