It is well known that the Bella twins are die-hard football fans, and Nikki Bella doesn’t miss a chance to show that through her ring gear.
Last year, the WWE Hall of Famer showed up wearing custom gear inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles, rocking the team’s green and white during her match. Fans noticed it immediately and connected the gear to the recent rumor linking Nikki to Eagles defensive back Cooper DeJean.
Rumors of love swirling in the air had surfaced when Nikki posted a photo near DeJean’s locker. Moreover, her open support for the Eagles only lent support to the speculation.
Nikki Bella Wears Custom Eagles Gear on WWE RAW
Backstage at RAW in Philadelphia, NXT LVL Customs surprised Nikki with a pair of custom Philadelphia Eagles–themed Air Jordans. The sneakers were designed in the team’s green colors and given to her as a gift. In a video shared by the creators, Nikki excitedly called them “the sickest shoes ever.”
Both Nikki and Brie Bella have been fans of the team for years. Their great-great-grandfather, Giuseppe Colace, migrated from Naples, Italy, to Philadelphia. Their grandfather, Joseph Colac,e grew up in Philadelphia and served in World War II before eventually moving to California.
Although both sisters grew up in Arizona, they never shied away from showing their love for Philadelphia due to their family roots.
Nikki’s love for football goes beyond the NFL. She is also a big supporter of Arizona State University and has talked about how going to major games like the Fiesta Bowl made her love the sport even stronger.
Nikki even showed her love for the Eagles during the premiere of her film Happy Gilmore 2 last year by wearing a custom Philadelphia Eagles outfit.
Football has clearly been a big part of her life for a long time.
