Stephanie Vaquer, the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion, debuted a brand-new entrance theme on WWE RAW.
Vaquer who was into a heated rivalry with Raquel Rodriguez and things finally exploded in Philadelphia on WWE RAW. Following months of tension and attacks they fought in a street fight rules for the Women’s World title.
However, before fists started flying, the new theme hit. Stephanie Vaquer came out with a theme that sounded nothing like her old one. It gave out different energy, tone and much sharper. Fans immediately caught it.
Especially, Vaquer had stated a few months ago she didn’t want this change her theme. On Insights with Chris Van Vliet, Vaquer shared that she was deeply attached to her previous entrance theme and felt it perfectly captured her mindset the moment it started playing.
She said WWE once asked her to change the theme on following arriving on main roster, but she pushed back and spoke directly with Shawn Michaels about keeping it. Michaels listened and said he would see what he could do.
Fast forward to now with a new theme and WrestleMania 42 right around the corner. Despite not wanting the switch the theme, Vaquer still delivered when it mattered most. The Philadelphia Street Fight turned chaotic fast, with The Judgment Day getting involved.
Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez interfered, but Vaquer fought through the odds and defeated Raquel Rodriguez with a corkscrew splash. After the match, Liv Morgan attacked Vaquer, making it clear their rivalry is far from over.
