Will Hobbs shocked the WWE Universe with his surprise appearance in the Men’s Royal Rumble.

The former AEW star, now known as Royce Keys, entered the match at number 14 to a solid reaction from the crowd. He immediately made an impact, clearing the ring before coming face-to-face with Cody Rhodes.

Powerhouse Hobbs lasted nearly 10 minutes in the bout and eliminated former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest before being thrown out by Bronson Reed.

A recent report noted that there were positive reactions backstage to his WWE debut. However, some officials were reportedly confused about how the company was initially able to use his AEW ring name before the on-screen graphic later changed to Royce Keys.
