Stephanie McMahon and Trish Stratus want to know what’s going on.
For months, a unique remix of 4 Non Blondes’ What’s Up? and Nicki Minaj’s Beez in the Trap has taken over the internet, with Hollywood actors to professional athletes hopping on the viral trend surrounding it. Amongst the latest is former WWE executive Stephanie McMahon and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
McMahon and Stratus shared their rendition of the trend on X. McMahon opened the video by mouthing the lyrics to What’s Up? before Stratus whirled around to belt out the popular verses from Beez in the Trap.
As noted in the video’s caption, Stratus is set to be the next guest on McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast. Last week, actor and fellow podcast host O’Shea Jackson Jr. sat down with McMahon.
In recent weeks, a number of other WWE stars have joined the “What’s Going On” trend. This includes NXT North American Champion Ethan Page and then-Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green, who currently reign as the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions as well.
As for McMahon and Stratus, the former marked her latest WWE appearance as the host to the January 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. In three months, she will also take her own place into the WWE Hall of Famer as part of the class of 2026.
WWE fans last saw Stratus in the ring at WWE Evolution, where she challenged then-WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. It has yet to be seen if she will enter the Women’s Royal Rumble yet again.
