Will we see Chris Jericho make his long-awaited return to WWE this weekend as the company hosts multiple shows in Canada?
There have been plenty of reports and speculation in recent months that have suggested that Chris Jericho will be departing AEW to return to WWE. Some people had targeted his return several weeks ago, but it still hasn’t taken place.
But with WWE heading to Canada for several shows this weekend, talk has once again picked up about a potential Chris Jericho return. But will it happen this time?
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Chris Jericho is advertised to perform this Friday evening at The Anaheim Arena at JAMM Night. Which is a free concert as part of this year’s National Association of Music Merchants gathering. This event takes place in Los Angeles.
Johnson has been told Jericho is expected to remain at the event for the weekend, so unless something changes at the last minute, his WWE return won’t take place on SmackDown or Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Despite this, Johnson doesn’t mention that WWE RAW will be in Toronto on Monday. So those hoping for a Jericho WWE return in Canada still have some hope. However, it must be pointed out that as of this writing, Jericho remains on the official AEW roster page.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
