Becky Lynch Makes Huge Revelation on WWE Unreal Season 2

Becky Lynch has revealed that her current WWE run may be the final chapter of her in-ring career.

The revelation came during the first episode of WWE Unreal Season 2 on Netflix, which focused on Becky Lynch’s return at WrestleMania 41. She explained that before her contract expired in mid-2024. Lynch personally asked for time off because she felt completely burned out.

She said she pushed herself nonstop after returning from maternity leave. The constant travel started to take an emotional toll on her. Lynch shared that her daughter, Roux, would get upset whenever she came home. That reaction made her realize she needed to step away and reset.

In 2024, Lynch spoke with Triple H about the issue and told him that her contract had ended and that she needed time off. The Game understood her situation and they agreed to decide on her return later after a new contract was in place.

After spending nearly a year away from the ring, Lynch eventually signed a new WWE contract ahead of her WrestleMania 41 return. During her time off, she focused on family life with her husband, Seth Rollins and their daughter, Roux. She said she now sees this run in a very different way.

She stated, “This is probably it. This is the final run. This is the final contract.” The episode also showed an emotional moment backstage in the gorilla position as Lynch prepared to return. Her daughter Roux was seen crying and hugging her. This highlighted how difficult the balance between wrestling and family has become for Lynch.

Since Lynch has openly said this is her final contract. It will be interesting to see how her possible last run plays out. She recently defended the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on RAW in her home country of Ireland after Natalya turned on Dupri.
