WWE SmackDown is set to undergo a scheduling change in February 2026.
A spokesperson from the USA Network has confirmed to POST Wrestling that due to the Winter Olympics, WWE SmackDown will air on Syfy on Friday, February 13 and February 20 in its regular three-hour format from 8 – 11 p.m. ET.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22 in Italy. Since USA Network will be providing 24/7 coverage of the event, WWE SmackDown had to be moved to its sister channel, Syfy.
The February 13 episode of WWE SmackDown will emanate from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, and the following week’s episode will take place at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. The blue brand will return to USA Network on February 27 in Louisville, Kentucky, the night before the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
The card for this week’s WWE SmackDown
The January 23, 2026, episode of WWE SmackDown will emanate from the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the same venue as Saturday Night’s Main Event the following night.
The match card announced so far is as follows:
- Johnny Gargano vs. Nathan Frazier
- Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams
- Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Giulia & Kiana James vs. Lash Legend & Nia Jax – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship No.1 contender’s match
- The Wyatt Sicks vs. MFTs – WWE Tag Team Championship
Being the go-home show for Saturday Night’s Main Event, this week’s WWE SmackDown could heavily feature the four superstars who will compete in the WWE Championship No.1 contender’s fatal-four-way match. After having a brawl last week, Jacob Fatu and Cody Rhodes might have another physical altercation before squaring off in the ring the following night.
