Influencer and gymnast Sallie Grace was one of several people who took part in WWE tryouts this past week, but quit due to concussion issues.
In a recent series of posts on Instagram, Grace revealed that she had to pull herself out of tryouts. Grace was one of several people who were in Orlando the past week trying out for WWE. According to Grace, though, she left early due to a concussion she suffered while training on one of the first days.
In a post made on Instagram, Grace revealed that she was hit in the head by someone swinging on the ropes of the ring. Grace went on to describe some scary symptoms that she experienced. These included not remembering speaking to medics or being able to make it back to her hotel room. A day later, Grace revealed that she pulled herself out of tryouts.
“I’ve fallen on concrete skateboarding, I’ve been a gymnast my whole life, I’ve taken slams,” Grace said. “But I had to stop running bumps yesterday, because I knew something wasn’t right in my brain.”
Grace noted that everyone was respectful, but that she was told to keep taking bumps “harder and harder” while practicing. In a follow-up video, she noted that “everyone” was getting concussed, and that more would likely be happening during tryouts.
“Everyone’s getting concussed left and right,” said Grace. “They’re saying that there’s going to be more happening. I’m obviously facing repercussions right now. People are getting injured. One girl got kicked in the head.”
