AEW World Trios Titles Change Hands On Collision

The AEW World Trios Championships are in new hands.

During Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, the trio of Hangman Page and JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey) took on the reigning champs, The Opps. After getting into it with Samoa Joe and his group earlier this month, Page and JetSpeed finally got the upper hand. The trio won, with Kevin Knight giving his team the win by hitting Hobbs with a massive sunset flip.

The win gives the trio their first title reigns as champions. As for The Opps, their run comes to an end after 264 days. Throughout their title reign, they dominated the trios division, and defended their title successful six times. In other news, the match also signifies the final time Powerhouse Hobbs will likely appear in AEW for the time being. It was reported recently that the star will be joining WWE when his contract runs out on Thursday.
