This former AEW star surfaced at TNA Genesis.
The Genesis pre-show featured Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defending the TNA International Championship against Eric Young, BDE, and KJ Orso, formerly known as Fuego Del Sol. The closing sequence saw Eric Young spike Orso with a piledriver before Stacks shoved Young out of the ring and pinned Orso for the win.
Orso initially appeared in iMPACT Wrestling nearly a decade ago before making his WWE debut in a squash match against Eric Rowan on the January 6, 2020, episode of RAW. He later began appearing on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation during the pandemic, which resulted in a 34-match losing streak on All Elite Wrestling’s YouTube-exclusive shows.
Fuego Del Sol’s AEW main roster debut took place against Miro on the August 13, 2021, episode of Rampage. Despite the loss, Sol was offered a contract by close friend Sammy Guevara. His final contracted appearance for the promotion came on Dark in February 2023, and Orso left the company a couple of months later.
Orso made a surprise return on AEW Rampage in 2024, where he lost to Roderick Strong. The Fuego Del Sol gimmick was later dropped after Orso lost a mask vs. career match against Atticus Cogar at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9.
