A new report on the status of Aleister Black has shed some light on what the WWE star is up to.
According to a new report from PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Black has been away from any action as he continues to “sell” the result of his Ambulance Match against Damian Priest. The report goes on to mention that his current hiatus was planned, and he remains with the company.
While there were rumors that Black may have been hurt, Johnson notes that that doesn’t seem to be the case. The report mentions that, should Black have needed to be on WWE TV, he could have.
Black’s last appearance on WWE TV came on January 2, 2026. There, he faced Priest in the ambulance match on SmackDown. Since then, he has not appeared, but it’s likely that his time to return will come soon. He hasn’t been a part of the ongoing European tour WWE is doing. However, with the Royal Rumble and other events coming up, it’s likely we’ll be seeing Black return at some point.
