Here’s What AJ Styles Did On The TNA on AMC Live Premiere

AJ Styles made his long-awaited return to TNA on Thursday night, but it didn’t go exactly like some people speculated it would.

Styles came to the ring and said he was going to keep it short and sweet. Styles welcomed everyone to the house that he built—but it’s bigger and badder and bolder than ever before. A loud “AMC” chant breaks out, and Styles asks them to keep that energy all night.

Styles starts a TNA chant and says they need to start some chaos, then the show’s opening theme song plays.

After the first match finished, Frankie Kazarian was speaking to Gia Miller backstage. Styles walked up to Kazarian, who cut a promo on Styles, acting like he was ruining his moment. Kaz asked if he’s supposed to thank Styles for the house, but Styles simply stared at the title on Kaz’s shoulder and said ‘thanks’ before walking away.

AJ Styles was only advertised to appear on the show, so he did show up as advertised. This was also similar to his 2025 Slammiversary appearance, where he cut an in-ring promo and put over Leon Slater. However, many speculated that he could potentially make his in-ring return in the near future, or at least announce it.

According to a recent report from BodySlam+, several people in WWE believe that AJ Styles will wrestle in TNA before he officially retires this year. It was also reported by F4WOnline.com’s Dave Meltzer (via Wrestling Observer Radio) that TNA wanted Styles to face Frankie Kazarian for the TNA World Championship for the AMC Network debut. However, Meltzer noted that the match could still happen down the line.

Based on how the confrontation between Styles and Kazarian went, it seems like a possibility.
