CJ Perry has shared why she would love to see Chris Jericho and Saraya make their way back to WWE.
Speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, CJ Perry talked about potential big-name returns she hopes to see in the near future. She mentioned that Chris Jericho and Saraya were at the top of her list. She said, “Chris Jericho, I would love to see him return. I love to see all the anticipation he builds. Even if he goes somewhere else, it’s still really exciting because we’re talking about it. There’s noise all over the internet about it, and he’s also been always so incredible at this.”
Perry praised Jericho’s ability to generate buzz wherever he goes. “When he debuted at [WCW] and then went to [WWE], lot of noise around where is he going to go, what’s happening. When he left WWE, New Japan, AEW, always a lot of noise. He knows how to promote. He knows the three Ps: Promote, promote, promote.”
She also reflected on her experience attending the Chris Jericho Cruise. “I’ve been on the Chris Jericho Cruise and that was phenomenal experience. This man knows how to put asses in seats.” Perry praised Saraya and said she would love to see her back in a WWE ring, adding that a dream match with Rhea Ripley would be dream, “That [match] would be a dream.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]
As of this month, Saraya has reportedly resumed training, with a possible in-ring return being discussed. Meanwhile, Jericho continues to be surrounded by speculation after reports suggested his AEW contract may have expired. Despite the rumors, he remains listed on AEW’s roster page.
