WWE fans are convinced a top RAW star may be bringing back his iconic gimmick.
During Monday’s episode of RAW on Netflix in Germany, Finn Bálor emerged to challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. After Punk said he was ready to put his title on the line, Bálor proposed that the two meet in his home country of Ireland next week.
With the title match set for WWE RAW in Belfast, Bálor’s fans are more convinced than ever that he could be reviving a long-lost gimmick. An eagle-eyed fan pointed to a backstage interview segment with AJ Styles that featured an “X” in the background.

If it was merely a coincidence, the same “X” also appeared during Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez’s interview with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on the RAW recap.
Many fans believe a world title run for Bálor is long overdue. He was involved in a World Heavyweight Championship program with Seth Rollins two years ago. However, he fell short of dethroning The Visionary.
As for the Prince gimmick, fans have not seen Bálor tap into an alternate persona since the Demon returned in a Hell in a Cell match against Edge at WrestleMania 39. Could the WWE Universe in Ireland witness the return of The Prince?
Perhaps that is what Bálor needs to finally break the title curse that has followed him since 2016. Only time will tell.
