Nikki Bella has given a status update amid her absence from WWE television.
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has been absent from television since she lost the Women’s World Championship triple threat match against Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez on the December 29, 2025, episode of WWE RAW.
While fans continue to speculate when she will show up in WWE again, Nikki Bella has confirmed that she’s currently taking some time off. Speaking to her sister, Brie Bella, on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki confirmed her status while discussing taking a digital detox during this break.
“I feel like right now, with my time off, I need to take one (a digital detox/break from digital devices). But I still have some things to post, but then I am going to take one,” Nikki Bella said.
It’s unclear how long her break would last. However, with the Royal Rumble fast approaching, fans expect her to be back in time for the event. During her time off, Bella recently appeared at the VRBO Fiesta Bowl, showcasing a custom College Football Playoff-themed WWE Championship.
Nikki Bella says Triple H helped transform women’s wrestling
Speaking in an interview with KTAR, Nikki Bella explained the difference between working under Vince McMahon and Triple H. While she said she’s had great relationships with both, Bella highlighted The Game’s strong support for the women’s division.
Nikki Bella said, “You know, I’ve had an incredible relationship with them both. Obviously. as you can see with Triple H, he loves women’s wrestling, which has been so incredible. And he gives the women the same opportunities the men have. Whether that’s match time, that’s women fighting in a cage, that’s women main eventing? He really spends time on giving them those opportunities.”
“That is what’s been incredible about being back in this new era. And you can see that level of respect with the fans, and I do believe that’s due to Triple H and the respect he has for women’s wrestling.” [H/T: 411mania]
