WWE Legend Has Good Reason For Not Remembering TNA Match

A WWE legend has a good reason for not remembering his match against Brian Cage at TNA Hard to Kill 2020.

Replying to a post on X/Twitter, looking back on his match against Rob Van Dam at TNA Hard to Kill 2020, Brian Cage recalled it being his last TNA match. He noted that he went in while dealing with a torn bicep and sustained a tear on his upper lip during the contest.

WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam quoted Cage’s reply in another tweet, saying he doesn’t remember the match because he was sleeping after taking a knee to his head. While he didn’t explicitly say it, it appears he’s implying that he got knocked out/concussed after taking the blow, which caused him to lose memory of the contest.

“I don’t remember cause I was sleeping after that knee to my head,” the WWE legend posted.

The match ended in a no-contest after the referee stopped it after deeming Brian Cage too injured to continue. Rob Van Dam then went on to face Daga in an impromptu match and defeat him.

WWE legend Rob Van Dam revealed the loudest crowd he experienced

In an exclusive interview with GamesHub, WWE legend Rob Van Dam looked back at his match against John Cena at ECW One Night Stand 2006. He noted that he experienced the loudest and most hostile crowd of his career at the event.

“Definitely the most responsive and interactive crowd out of my whole career,” the WWE legend began. “They were so loud in the building, and with the shape of the room, it doesn’t allow the sound to escape like it does through a huge skydome. So you could hear it and stay connected with it. Everybody’s energy was shared with one big pool of hardcore energy, and that’s the best way to describe that.

“Just a big pool of hardcore energy that completely filled the room up. I was riding on their energy, it was like surfing on a wave. It was so awesome. I was so excited about that. Like not only did I get ECW back? Which is also my favourite, my best showcasing, but it was on WWE’s centre stage, so everyone gets to see us.

“And then I felt like I was completely unbeatable. I felt like a superhero that night and like I said it was the mindset I was in. I was a superhero that night. I felt amazing and I was out to amaze,” the WWE Hall of Famer said.
