AEW star Eddie Kingston has provided a positive update on his health, revealing that his knee is feeling strong following his long-awaited return.
Kingston missed action from May 2024 to September 2025 due to a fractured tibia and torn ACL and meniscus. He returned to the ring at AEW All Out 2025, where he faced Big Bill after being sidelined for over a year.
Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, Kingston was asked how he’s feeling after his return. “Still more time,” Kingston said when discussing his in-ring timing. “That’s also me never being happy with anything. It’s just like, ‘eh.'”
While he admitted he’s still working through some of the wear and tear from his long career, Kingston emphasized that his knee the most serious concern feels excellent. “Knee feels great. All the old injuries decided to say, ‘Hey, we’re still here.’ I’m getting them more time. Those were the injuries that were just bumps and bruises over 25 years. They’ll massage it out or I’ll take a shower and put tiger balm (on them) and feel fine. “
Kingston made it clear that the knee no longer worries him. “The one that was big was the knee and the knee feels great. I have no worry about it whatsoever. Once I put the brace on, I’m good to go.” [H/T: Fightful]
Since returning, Kingston has stayed active on AEW programming. He also had a AEW World Championship match against Samoa Joe at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming in last month. With Kingston being back and healthy. He is set to team with Ortiz to take on Grizzled Young Veterans at AEW Collision: Maximum Carnage this weekend.
