CM Punk Teases Big Change To Vampire Lore In New Movie

CM Punk has teased a never-before-seen change to vampire lore in his new movie.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk stars in Night Patrol, an action horror movie that sees residents of a Los Angeles housing project battle a group of vampire cops, which is set to hit the screens on January 16.

Punk appeared on the That Hashtag Show to promote the movie, and during the conversation, he opened up about the vampires in the film wearing metal teeth instead of growing fangs like normal vampire stories. He noted that it’s a clever aspect and pointed out that it’s never been done before.

“I do think that was such a clever aspect. Never really been done before in any kind of vampire movie, where like, ‘We turn into vampires, and yeah, we drink blood, but we don’t grow fangs. We put them on ourselves to help rip them throats.’ I think that’s super dark, too,” CM Punk said.

Speaking in the same interview, CM Punk said that he wants a movie career that mirrors former WWE Champion Dave Bautista’s.

CM Punk Was Accidentally Cut Open By Night Patrol Co-Star

During Night Patrol’s premiere event last weekend (via TMZ), rapper Freddie Gibbs revealed that he accidentally cut CM Punk with a gun during a scene. The filming had to be stopped so Punk could get medical attention.

“It was a scary moment, for real, but I’m going to tell the truth,” Gibbs said. “I haven’t told anybody this sh-t either, I thought CM Punk was mad at me for real, for an hour. I was walking around that motherf-cker for a while like, this might be a real fight in this motherf-cker with a wrestler. I’m not going to win this sh-t. When we did the scene when I had to shoot him when he was trying to get in the apartment, I had the gun, and I swung that shit up, and it cut his hand for real.”

Gibbs recalled being worried that Punk would be angry. However, the Straight Edge Superstar didn’t lose his cool and proceeded to film the scene.
