Kendal Grey sarcastically thanked Jacy Jayne for her latest trip to the dentist.
WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey faced off against Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship on Tuesday’s “New Year’s Evil” edition of NXT. During the match, Grey took a stiff knee in the face. Apparently, Grey was injured, as she shared an update during a trip to the dentist on Thursday.
“Fixing my teeth ? Thanks @jacyjaynewwe,” Kendal Grey wrote on Twitter/X. “Next time I get my hands on ya, this will be you instead…?”
Grey did not disclose the exact details of her injury, but did share a follow-up photo of herself with acupuncture needles and electronic stimulation leads on her face. It’s unclear how much time Grey will miss, if any.
Kendal Grey has been WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion for 105 days so far. She won the title at Evolve: Succession on September 23, 2025, beating inaugural champion Kali Armstrong for the title.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT featured two other championship matches that also resulted in two title reigns ending. Izzi Dame upset Thea Hail for the Women’s North American Championship, while Oba Femi vacated the NXT Championship despite having a successful title defense.
