Giulia is officially a champion again, re-capturing the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
During Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the match came together after Nick Aldis forced Chelsea Green to compete. The champion was initially too cold and too emotional to wrestle due to Stranger Things ending. However, Aldis said if she didn’t compete, she’d be stripped of her title.
Giulia and Chelsea Green then met in the ring to clash for the title. In a big back-and-forth battle, it was Giulia who would walk out on top. The star came out on top after hitting a big suplex and subsequent splash on Green. She then pinned the champion and was crowned the champion yet again.
Giulia’s win ends Green’s reign as the champion, which lasted just 57 days. As for Gilua, it’s her second time holding the belt, having had the title for 133 days before losing it to Chelsea in November.
