It appears tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown spoiled the result of a big match for this Monday’s episode of RAW.
The opening contest on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend take on Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY.
The finish of the match saw Ripley and SKY double-team Sane with back-to-back finishing moves, leading to SKY scoring the pinfall victory over Sane for her team.
There’s just one problem. WWE likely just spoiled the result of Monday’s big Women’s Tag Team Title match on RAW.
Typical WWE booking has told us over the years that if the challengers beat the champions in a match right before the title is on the line, they aren’t winning the gold. It would have been very easy for Flair or Bliss to score the pinfall tonight. Or even have Ripley or SKY pin Jax or Legend. But no, WWE went with this finish for some reason.
While they could easily swerve everyone on Monday, it seems very likely that tonight’s episode of SmackDown just spoiled one of RAW’s big title matches.
