WWE SmackDown Star Returns From Injury

A WWE SmackDown Superstar who missed a majority of 2025 due to a serious injury has returned to action.

Apollo Crews hasn’t been seen since the January 24, 2025, episode of SmackDown, where he picked up the win against Johnny Gargano. Unfortunately, he also suffered a torn pec in that matchup.

Crews would go on to have surgery in February, forcing him to miss the rest of 2025 due to injury. However, he made his surprise return tonight in Buffalo ahead of SmackDown during the WWE Main Event tapings. Crews would go on to lose to Talla Tonga of The MFTs in singles action.

As of this writing, it’s unknown when Crews will officially appear again on SmackDown.
