A WWE Legend has recently made a bold claim regarding Triple H‘s current place in the company.
Triple H is leading the charge at WWE as the Chief Content Officer. A position that many fans have debated he wouldn’t have if not for marrying Stephanie McMahon in 2003. However, a certain WWE Legend believes that regardless of who Hunter married, he would still be in the exact same position he is today.
On the latest episode of Something to Wrestle, WWE Legend Bruce Prichard shut down the rumors that there was past friction between the two, going as far as to say that Triple H would still be in the same position he’s in today, despite who he married, due to his love and desire for the business.
“I have nothing to hate him for,” Bruce Prichard said. “And in all the times we worked together prior to coming back, and look, I can’t speak for him. I don’t know. But I do know how he treated me. He always treated me well.
“So, he was a top talent, and obviously married in, but if he had married Betty down the street, he’d still be in the same position he is in today. Because he still has those qualifications. He still has that love and that desire for the business, and that’s what I appreciate as well, is we do share the same love and appreciation for the business.
“But always did, that’s the thing. That is 100 percent just rumor, gossip, people going, ‘Oh, well, you know –‘ it’s simply not true, in any way, shape, or form.” [H/T: Fightful]
