With a new look also comes a new theme song for WWE Raw star Austin Theory.
Two weeks after unveiling himself as the masked man helping The Vision, Austin Theory returned to singles competition on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw on Netflix. Before the bell sounded, Theory walked down the ramp to the tune of a brand new rock-sounding theme song, with the opening “A-Town Down” voiceover clip also removed.
While reveling in his new song, Theory emerged onto the WWE stage under a bright spotlight and flexed, telling the camera that “This is my time.”
Once he reached the ring, Theory shifted his attention to his opponent, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. Mysterio eventually won their match by disqualification after Logan Paul interfered, causing the referee to call for the bell. Afterward, Theory and Paul continued to beat down Mysterio until Penta ran down to the even the odds, then send The Vision stablemates retreating back up the ramp.
Earlier in the episode of WWE RAW on Netflix, Paul Heyman had officially announced Theory as the newest member of The Vision after the former United States Champion pinned Mysterio in tag team action the week prior.
Since WWE Survivor Series, Theory has repeatedly stomped out the foes of The Vision, including CM Punk, LA Knight, and Mysterio. Initially, Theory did it under the guise of a black hoodie and mask, though he later took them off to reveal a shaved head and a full beard.
