Nikkita Lyons works WWE Main Event.
Last night, WWE Raw marked its last show of 2025 from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, with The Usos and AJ Styles-Dragon Lee colliding in the closer. Before Raw went live on Netflix, fans in attendance were also treated to a WWE Main Event taping.
One of the Main Event matches pitted Raw star Ivy Nile against Nikkita Lyons, who regularly on WWE NXT and WWE Evolve. Nile emerged victorious, courtesy of a Dragon Sleeper. Her win comes two weeks removed from her unsuccessful pursuit of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Despite the loss, Lyons match with Nile marks her first outing on WWE Main Event. In recent months, Lyons’ television appearances have primarily come through WWE Evolve, where Kendal Grey reigns as the Evolve Women’s Champion. Lyons’ latest bout on Evolve resulted in a loss as Layla Diggs defeated her on the December 10th episode on Tubi.
Meanwhile, Lyons has continued to wrestle on NXT live events as well, one of which saw her vie for the NXT Women’s North American Championship on December 20. As of now, it is unknown if Lyons’ appearance on Main Event is indicative of a main roster call-up.
Elsewhere on the Main Event taping, Bravo Americano defeated the LWO’s Joaquin Wilde in singles competition. On Raw, Jimmy and Jey Uso notably dethroned AJ Styles and Dragon Lee as WWE World Tag Team Champions in the main event.
