Mick Foley reacts to a WWE rumor involving him.
Taking to Instagram, the pro wrestling legend called out fan pages for claiming he is at odds with WWE over their use of his footage.
“Hello everyone, this is Mick Foley. My flight has just landed and I have found out that an Instagram site called @itswrestlinglover and a Facebook page called ‘Wrestling Corner’ is putting out a completely fabricated story about me being furious with WWE for using my wrestling footage.
“First of all, it’s their footage and they can do whatever they want with it. Secondly, I’m proud of the footage. I love everything I did when I was part of the company and I like being seen. So please, retract this statement, admit it’s false, do the right thing, and have a nice day!”
Mick Foley no longer associated with WWE
Mick Foley made headlines after announcing he was distancing himself from WWE over the company’s ties to Donald Trump. Foley went public with his decision in the aftermath of Trump’s controversial remarks following the death of actor and director Rob Reiner.
“PARTING WAYS WITH WWE While I have been concerned about WWE‘s close relationship with Donald Trump for several months — especially in light of his administration’s ongoing cruel and inhumane treatment of immigrants (and pretty much anyone who “looks like an immigrant”) — reading the President’s incredibly cruel comments in the wake of Rob Reiner’s death is the final straw for me.”
