Mark Henry says trying to make a WWE star break character was the best part of being Sexual Chocolate.
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry took to X/Twitter to post a clip from his interaction with Stone Cold Steve Austin on his Broken Skull Sessions podcast. There, he spoke about his romantic storyline with the late WWE legend Chyna in 1998. Henry said trying to make her break character was the best part of playing his infamous Sexual Chocolate gimmick.
“The best part of being Sexual Chocolate was getting to work with #Chyna! The whole time all I wanted to do was make her break character! Her birthday is coming up and I’m sorry she’s not here to celebrate it. Joanie was one of my favorite people to travel with great sense of humor, incredibly smart, spoke multiple languages, played instruments. Just a brilliant person that was taylor made for entertainment.”
Mark Henry Reveals The Only Time He’s Ever Been High
Mark Henry recently revealed he’s only been high once in his life, and he didn’t even smoke. Henry revealed that he once got high by simply sitting in the back of a car while WWE legends Viscera and Teddy Long smoked weed in the front.
“They smoked weed and got me high,” Henry told The Undertaker on the Six Feet Under podcast. “The only time I’ve ever been high in my life was that one tour. We drove from Toledo, Ohio, to Cleveland, and I sat in the car for like ten minutes after they had already gotten out. I didn’t know if I can walk. I had no clue that my legs weren’t working.
“Viscera and Teddy, they laughed the whole time, and I was trying to sleep. I put my head out the window for about an hour. I’m just like, ‘This is brutal, man, I gotta get in the car with somebody else.’ Then I’m sitting there, and I remember Teddy Long coming back and being like, ‘Hey man, you want to check in the hotel or what?’ And I was like, ‘We’re here?’” Mark Henry said.
