Seth Rollins Claps Back At Critics Of WWE Going To Saudi Arabia

Seth Rollins has pushed back against critics of WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia, offering his honest perspective.

During an interview with Jay Mohr on Mohr Stories, Seth Rollins talked about WWE’s upcoming schedule. “WWE’s got their schedule,” Rollins said, mentioning major events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania before noting that the Royal Rumble 2026 is set to take place in Saudi Arabia.

When asked whether WWE receives the same backlash that comedians often face for performing in Saudi Arabia, Rollins didn’t hesitate. “We’ve been going there for six years. Who cares? We’ve been taking sh*t for six years.”

Mohr jokingly referred to the idea of performers being paid in “blood money,” which Rollins immediately shut down. “Oh, it’s blood money,” Rollins said. “Well, guess what? We get paid by America, too. What do you think? You think there’s no blood money there? Come on. Get out of here.”

Seth Rollins reflected on how WWE’s Saudi Arabia shows changed his perspective

Seth Rollins shared a more thoughtful reflection on how his own mindset has changed over time. “Look, here’s what I’ll tell you. We’ve gone there for six years, and I’ll say this: when we went in 2019, I was skeptical as well.”

“Oh, I don’t know about this. I don’t know how I feel about it. But we go over there, and the change in the culture and the people at our shows in six years has been incredible. When I tell you we went there the first time, there were no women on our show. There were no women backstage. They wouldn’t do anything. Now we go there, and it’s just like a WWE show. The fans there’s a ton of women there.”

Rollins’ comments make it clear that he’s no longer bothered by criticism of the company’s Saudi Arabia partnership.
