With TNA Wrestling weeks away from their AMC debut, what is the current status of arguably their top act, The Hardys?
It’s been no secret in recent months that TNA has had a number of contracts expire while several others are winding down by year’s end. With their new media rights deal in place for iMPACT, the company is now looking to lock down some of its top stars.
However, none might be bigger than the current TNA World Tag Team Champions, Matt and Jeff Hardy. Has the company been able to lock down the duo to new long-term contracts?
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), despite being a major part of attracting the company’s new television deal with AMC, the Hardys have yet to be locked down to new TNA contracts.
Despite that, TNA hopes to have a deal done with the legendary duo very soon. In fact, they’re hopeful they can lock Matt and Jeff down to long-term deals to keep them with the company for years to come.
While not confirmed, people within the company believe that Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently the highest-paid talent on the roster.
