Cody Rhodes Attacks Drew McIntyre At His Home

Cody Rhodes wasn’t willing to wait to get his hands on Drew McIntyre as the WWE Champion attacked the suspended SmackDown Superstar at his house.

Nick Aldis made good on his promise on Friday and went to Drew McIntyre’s home to renegotiate the terms to life McIntyre’s suspension.

Aldis proposed a WWE Championship match with Cody Rhodes, but McIntyre must publicly apologize for the official he attacked. Aldis also made it clear that there will be a hefty fine for his actions. However, it will come out of his paycheck from WarGames.

McIntyre declined and said Aldis has created an unsafe work environment, and he doesn’t accept those terms. McIntyre said he wants what’s fair, and if he comes back, he wants to pick the stipulation of his title match and have Aldis draw up a document that states if Rhodes touches him before the match, he is stripped of the title. Aldis agrees to his terms.

But before McIntyre can celebrate, he gets an alert on his phone that Cody Rhodes is outside his home. McIntyre claims Aldis set him up, but Aldis insists he had nothing to do with it. Aldis goes outside to try and talk Rhodes down, but once McIntyre got involved, there was a brawl on the property.

The two men fought all over McIntyre’s front lawn before being separated by security. It ends with Rhodes telling McIntyre Merry Christmas, asshole, and McIntyre screaming how much he hates Rhodes.
