First Names Announced For The AEW Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale

AEW has announced participants for the upcoming Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale.

During this week’s Collision broadcast, All Elite Wrestling confirmed the return of the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale for the Holiday Bash special episode next Wednesday.

The battle royale will feature Mark Davis, Anthony Bowens, Max Caster, Brody King, Ricochet, and Shelton Benjamin. The competitors will fight until only two remain, with the finalists then facing off for the coveted ring on the Christmas Eve episode of AEW Dynamite in two weeks.

Bobby Lashley’s status revealed on AEW Collision

During the Dynamite Diamond Ring match announcement, MVP revealed that former AEW World Tag Team Champion Bobby Lashley is out of action due to injury. While MVP did not disclose the nature of the injury, he confirmed that Shelton Benjamin will compete in the battle royale.

Lashley was last seen in action during the Casino Gauntlet match to determine the inaugural AEW National Champion at Full Gear. Ricochet won the match to become All Elite Wrestling’s first-ever National Champion.
