Stephanie McMahon reveals she had a miscarriage at one point in her life.
During a new episode of her What’s Your Story? podcast with Natalya, former WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon opened up about the time she suffered a miscarriage.
“This is probably a bit of a dovetail — not a great one — but I had a miscarriage at one point, and it was devastating,” Stephanie said.
“You never really know until you talk about it. When you finally tell someone you had a miscarriage, you find out so many women you know have gone through the same thing. It’s just something we don’t share, even though talking about it would be so helpful — especially from a mental health standpoint.
“It’s incredibly hard to go through that. And when you realize that people you love and look up to have faced similar struggles, it reminds you that we all have problems, and we’re here to help one another. At the end of the day, all we have is each other. So kudos to you for being so willing to share. It’s amazing how you’re helping people just by talking about it.”
Stephanie McMahon is married to WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The couple has three children: Aurora Rose (b. 2006), Murphy Claire (b. 2008), and Vaughn Evelyn Levesque (b. 2010).
Stephanie McMahon praises WWE Superstar’s recent endeavor outside the company
Earlier in the day, McMahon took to social media to heap praise on Bayley for giving back to the wrestling fraternity. For context, the Role Model recently hosted a three-day Lodestone seminar for female independent wrestlers in Orlando, Florida.
“Thank YOU for your leadership and sacrifice @itsBayleyWWE! And for helping mentor and grow the next generation of female wrestlers! @JohnCena showed up, as did everyone else, because of the opportunity YOU created (and mostly paid for out of your own pocket). The future is in excellent hands praying hands emoji #Lodestone2025,” she wrote.
Bayley is set to take on former NXT Women’s Champion Sol Ruca at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match is part of the John Cena retirement show card. Cena will square off against former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
