WWE has a list of suspects who could potentially be the masked attacker from Survivor Series.
The ending of the men’s WarGames at WWE Survivor Series 2025 saw a masked man enter the cage and attack CM Punk with Seth Rollins’ signature Stomp. While the Vision’s Oracle, Paul Heyman, continues to deny he has any knowledge about the mystery attacker, WWE has released a list of suspects in an article on its website.
Ranking from the most likely to the least, here’s WWE’s list of suspects and the reasoning behind suspecting them.
- Randy Orton – He might be bitter over CM Punk overshadowing his return at Survivor Series 2023.
- Austin Theory – WWE claims the mystery attacker’s body build is similar to that of Theory’s.
- Seth Rollins – He might be faking an injury again.
- John Cena – Calling it a long shot, WWE suspects John Cena might be setting up a swerve after his retirement match and go after Punk.
- LA Knight – He might be fed up with not getting a title shot and wants to go after the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Becky Lynch – She might be targeting her husband’s arch nemesis and also looking for retribution for AJ Lee tapping her out.
- Sami Zayn – Paul Heyman has always accepted Zayn as a member of The Bloodline. So he might be stepping in as the new member of the Vision since Logan Paul might not be in it for the long run.
- AJ Styles – Styles and CM Punk have never gotten along, and The Phenomenal One might be looking to get his hands on the World Title before he retires next year.
It’s interesting to note that WWE has listed Austin Theory as the second most likely suspect on the list since reports claim he could be the one behind the mask. WWE is also not the first to identify Theory by his body build.
