Bully Ray praises Brock Lesnar as the “smartest performer” after his WWE RAW return in Madison Square Garden.
On WWE RAW, Brock Lesnar joined The Vision for the WarGames match and attacked CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. Roman Reigns also returned to even the odds for Punk’s team. When Lesnar and Reigns finally came face to face, Lesnar tried to hit a clothesline, but Reigns ducked and nailed him with a Superman Punch that sent him crashing to the floor.
On Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray reacted to the moment and called Lesnar the smartest wrestler in the business. He believes Lesnar’s choice to take such a dramatic bump made Reigns look even stronger in a single moment, calling Lesnar the smartest performer.
“Now, here’s the beauty of what they did last night and once again. I will go back to how Brock Lesnar is one of the smartest performers in the history of pro wrestling. Brock Lesnar is killing everybody last night. Then he gets in there with Roman. One Superman punch sent Brock Lesnar flying as effectively as Dolph Ziggler went flying from that Samoan spike that Solo hit him with.”
He noted Lesnar took one huge bump and instantly made Reigns look like a star. “Brock took one bump, bumped his ass off, ass over tea kettle, and got the hell out of the ring quickly. And holy sh*t did that get Roman over in one second. But also, Superman Punch is, it’s one of those moves that it’s very entertaining. It’s not like hitting a piledriver or a DDT or any you know, just Superman Punch. It’s kind of like a People’s Elbow, it’s an entertaining move, an entertaining finish.”
