TNA Executives Attend NXT Gold Rush Tapings

Championships from WWE, TNA, and AAA are being defended across the two-week NXT Gold Rush special, which emanates from The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Within the TNA realm, Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that TNA President Carlos Silva and Head of Talent Relations Tommy Dreamer were present at Tuesday night’s tapings.

ProWrestling.net has since corroborated the report, noting that the Silva and Dreamer were shown sitting at ringside during the TNA Knockouts Championship match pitting Kelani Jordan against Lei Ying Lee and Jordynne Grace. That match, along with several others, will air next Tuesday on the CW Network for United States-based fans. International fans can watch week two of NXT Gold Rush on Netflix.

Full spoilers for NXT Gold Rush week two can be found here.

Kelani Jordan, whose home base is in NXT, claimed the Knockouts Championship by surviving a battle royal, then defeating Lei Ying Lee in singles competition at TNA Victory Road in September. Jordan went on to successfully defend the title against Indi Hartwell, Jordynne Grace, Heather By Elegance, and M by Elegance in the weeks following. An additional defense came at an NXT live event, with PJ Vasa as her challenger.

WWE inked a multi-year partnership with TNA at the start of 2025. It allows talents of NXT and TNA to take part in cross-promotional appearances and matches. TNA’s Matt Cardona and Nic Nemeth specifically returned to WWE’s main roster as Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler, respectively.
